About the brow and lash studios with online booking
A brow and lash studio works on the eyes alone. For brows, there is shaping with thread, tweezers or wax to follow the lines of your face, lamination to brush them up and set them in place for around six weeks, and tint or henna to give them body. For lashes, there is a lift to curl them from the root, tinting, and extensions applied one by one or in volume fans, which are topped up every two to three weeks.
The most booked services are brow shaping, a lash lift with tint and brow lamination. If it is your first time with extensions, book the full set, not the infill, as an infill is only for someone who already wears them and still has at least half.

Arrive with no eye make-up or mascara, without contact lenses for any lash treatment, and keep the area dry for the first 24 hours after a lift, a lamination or extensions. What is the difference between a lash lift and lash extensions?
A lift works with your own lashes. It curls them from the root and tints them, lasts six to eight weeks and needs no maintenance. Extensions add fibres one by one or in fans, give more length and volume, and are topped up every two to three weeks as your natural lashes shed.
How long does brow lamination last?
Between four and six weeks, depending on your hair. Keep them dry and free of make-up for the first 24 hours. After that, brush them into place every day with the spoolie and, if you like, a little oil or serum.
Can I come with contact lenses and make-up on?
For any lash treatment take your lenses out (bring the case) and come without mascara or eyeshadow, as removing make-up at the studio eats into your appointment. For brows, the area just needs to be clean.
When should I book an infill rather than a full set of extensions?
An infill if you still have at least half of your extensions and it has been less than three weeks since your last appointment. If fewer are left or more time has passed, book the full set. If in doubt, book the full set and the studio adjusts the service when you arrive.
Do studios do a patch test before tint or lash glue?
Many studios do a sensitivity test 48 hours beforehand if it is your first time, especially with tint and extension adhesive. Ask when booking and write in the notes if you have ever had a reaction.
Can I have brow lamination and a lash lift in the same appointment?
Yes, and it is common. They are done together and the whole appointment takes about an hour and a quarter. Pick both services when booking so the studio holds the time for both.
